The Marché Central is a grouping of large stores with 800 underground parking spaces beneath more than 18,580 sq. m. of stores, restaurants or cinemas, up to five levels in height;
This innovative project as more than 135 columns transferred at the ground level to avoid any adverse effect on the overall functioning of the underground parking;
Relocation of the existing 100'-high mat on a concrete beam system;
Commercial space on two floors with a huge entrance hall, rigid frames that replace conventional bracing;
Special challenge to design a functional 800 commercial parking spaces, fluid and aerated;
With the help of the architect, we have developed a concept of open cylindrical main hall of 68 feet high. True signature of the project, this glass cylinder 52' in diameter will be the visual cue of the Complex, along the Acadia and Crémazie boulevards.
