Part of Montreal’s heritage, this 93,000 sq. m. building was restored into a shopping centre and office building by integrating a 10-storey central atrium.
While preserving the integrity of the facades and the historic character of the building, this modernization required major modification work to floors (openings), structural reinforcements and seismic retrofit using braces equipped with dynamic brakes.
